Video attracts more attention<\/h2>\n<p>In order to motivate people to come work for you, you must first attract attention. In other words, stand out. And that's not easy. Do you choose to do this through social media? Then video is almost a must. Posts with only text are easy to scroll past, for an image you stop faster and if that image also turns out to be a video, there is an even greater chance that you will stick around. Address your \u2018scroller\u2019 directly or show something cool that makes your organization stand out. Considering \u2018just dumping your job posting\u2019 on LinkedIn? You can, but I fear you won't win the battle with that. People want to be stimulated and immediately see what they can get from you.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Real is the trend<\/h2>\n<p>On social media, real content wins out. Personal stories from employees, real images from the workplace or honest stories from customers. Video is the way to tell real stories. Let employees tell about their work day, show where you work together or where you drink coffee. Dare to be really real. Don't hang up a sales pitch, don't just choose the employee who only praises working at your organization but also dare to put the critic in front of the camera. Every organization has its good points and points for improvement. Therein lies the opportunity for new employees to make a difference. And we all want to make a difference!<\/p>\n<h2>3. Attract people who suit you<\/h2>\n<p>In video, you can not only tell what kind of people you are looking for but you can also show it. By showing people from the applicant's prospective team, someone can immediately assess whether this is a good \u2018fit. Everyone wants to feel comfortable at work and the team has a big influence on that. Nice added benefit? Job applicants are convinced of the team even before they actually have an interview with you. So the chances of a fit, and thus a successful job interview, are a lot higher.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Preview your prospective colleague's workplace<\/h2>\n<p>People make an organization but, of course, the actual workplace is not entirely insignificant either. After all, what will the soon-to-be team member be like? Are there fixed places or is everything flex? Is someone actually on the road a lot? Do you have lunch together in your own company restaurant or is there anything outside? And what about the coffee...? In video you can show well what someone can expect from the workplace. Don't limit yourself to just showing the workplace, make sure that you also include people in the video. That way you give an even better picture of the atmosphere. Do you want to be at the forefront? Then <a href=\"https:\/\/2k.nl\/wat-is-interactieve-video\/\">interactive video<\/a> In to entice people! With interactive videos, the viewer decides what they want to see and you increase engagement exponentially.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Lower the application threshold<\/h2>\n<p>Videos on social media but also on the website are an opportunity to introduce applicants to the organization. Make applicants feel welcome, talk to them personally and tackle a few questions that many applicants have. Is experience not necessary or do you offer internal training and education? Lower the threshold to apply and tell in your video that the will to work and learn is sufficient. Can you already tell something about the terms of employment? Do so! Of course you want motivated people who want to work at your company because your company is cool. But fair is fair, everyone wants to know what's in return. Reason enough to use video within your recruitment strategy right? Keep in mind that just having a nice video is not enough. You also need to think about where to deploy it and how to make sure that the prospective applicant sees it. So feel free to ask your marketing colleague to help you with this!
